Cancun Sail & Snorkel to Isla Mujeres is a Perfect Day of Snorkeling - Buffet - Drinks - Party!. You wouldn't expect to do so many different activities and have so much fun doing all of them. All in all worth every penny, we would make everyone feel like this isn’t a group of strangers but a group of friends that were out.
We are a very profesional, reliable company, whose staff is extremely helpful and entertaining, you will enjoy a great experience, lot of fun and a incredible motor sailing across Isla Mujeres.
Hotel PickUp
Transportation round trip is included. We try our hardest to make it the easiest to our customers, so we pick you up right at your hotel and at the end of the excursion, transportation back to your hotel is all fixed up for you. (restrictions may apply)
We recommend to have some breakfast before taking the excursion.
Dock
Once you arrive at the dock / marina you would need to stand in line and present your vouchers, remember you do have to pay $12 USD per person (Dock fee) on top of the excursion price at the port, worth remembering before you set off for the day.
They would give you a brand new snorkeling tube and a group color. You would need to wait a few minutes until your color/number is call. Before going on board you would need to remove your shoes (We recomend you to wear flip flops). The boat is perfectly maintain; the crew is very helpful, friendly, fun and VERY concerned about your safety. As an added bonus, our Catamarans are large enough with tons of space for all on board to be very comfortable. The boats would leave about every 10 mins.
Ride to Isla Mujeres
Our crew is very experienced and deal with everything in such a safe and professional manner, there is never any doubt as to safety and comfort throughout.
Your main host speak fluent English and Spanish and would explain everything clearly while keeping you in stitches with his funny jokes.
Chilling to good music there and back with attentive staff keeping you topped up with water and softdrinks, you sail trough the greens and the blues of the beautiful Caribbean ocean to Isla Mujeres. The ride to the snorkeling place is about 1 hour. (due our limited time we do motor sailing)
Snorkeling
In some occasions due to logistics issues, first we would make your free time in Isla Mujeres and then the food or vice versa, the order of the factors does not affect the result, are the same times in places.
The snorkeling usually takes place at the underwater museum MUSA, However if weather conditions aren’t the best, for safety reasons, the snorkeling place will change to a more protected area called “El Farito”. This is not a company decision, the harbor master control all of these decisions.
They park the boat then let out a long line for everyone to hold onto after entering the water. One of the guys lead the group and another guy is behind everyone making sure no one is left behind.
They guide the group over beautiful reefs with schools of multicolored fish joining on your tour. Everything is very relaxing and enjoyable as you "swim" with the current - but with the floats, masks, snorkels and fins they provided you, makes it really easy, almost floated along versus vigorous swimming (Some swimming skills are required. All snorkelig gear is provided). The clarity of the water and sea life (you would see colorful fishes, barracudas, corals and starfishes) makes it a wonderful experience. The final stop is over an underwater museum, a set of sculptures which are placed on the sea bed. In this snorkeling part of the trip, you have to follow a guide who takes you around the sculptures.
Once back on the boat - we quenched our thirst with unlimited beer, margaritas, tequila sodas and water. They kept the drinks coming and the jokes rolling - Fun on the sea!
Lunch Bufete Style
The next stop is an all-you-can-eat buffet on Isla Mujeras. Lots of wonderful food in a relaxing outdoor venue sheltered from the mid day sun with thatched roofs and large fans providing a gentle breeze.
After lunch we climb back into our catamaran and the next stop is downtown on Isla Mujeres. We give a little over free time to shop, lay on the beach, drink or eat
Free Time on Isla Mujeres
Isla Mujeres is a cool island with a lot of shops, stunning beaches and street art. We recomend you rent a golf cart as long as you have a driver's license (don't forget otherwise they would not rent you the Golf cart) for an affordable rate to drive around the island, which is do-able in an hour, You can spend the next hour in a stunning beach swimming. "Playa Norte" at the north end of the island (10 min walk) is one of the most beautiful in the world. You split up from your group while on the island and have to be back at the docks by a certain time to sail back to Cancun
Back to Cancun
After your visit to Isla Mujeres, we will return to the catamaran for the trip back to Cancun. of course on the way back to Cancun, the atmosphere on the boat would be amazing, the staff is getting people up and dancing, everyone is happy and enjoying the trip. You wouldn't want this trip to end and will never forget it.
